  When I first arrived the doors were Chained and locked this would give you a heads-up on the activity in the area however after a short investigation I realize that the night clerk was taking a break and cleaning the parking lot for just a few minutes and the padlocks were removed and the chains put away this convenience store is 24/7 and returns bottles and cans one of the few places in Portland that will accept bottle returns in the early a.m. if you're hard up for some gas money you can stop here for five bucks remember be kind courteous and clean so that they will continue to accept bottle returns this feature is and can be a lifesaver thanks Plaid Pantry Just like to plug the night guy I was hard up for gas money I turned some cans in and he gave me a dollar out of his own pocket wow Portlandia was looking out for me thanks night guy
