  I visited REI one afternoon in October looking for a size 3X rain coat. The woman that assisted me was so incredibly nice and dedicated to finding the right coat, as the first few that I found only went up to 2X, but she helped my try them anyway. She finally found this black Columbia Sportswear jacket in 3X that fit perfectly! Before I purchased it, we had a brief chat about how plus sized options seem so limited at times for women at stores like this (it was a mutual commiserating, not me being a pissy customer at her). I'm so glad I found something cute in my size that was exactly what I was looking for. Thanks for the awesome customer service!! Unfortunately, I don't remember her name.

  I always love shopping at REI. The prices are a bit high on a lot of their gear but it is one of only a few stores in the area that have all my backpacking gear. The staff here are great and always helpful and the store is clean and well laid out.
